Graciously. Yes. That was too much for a single parent. After getting us ready, my Mom and I would ride public transportation. First to take me to school until I leaned the route and then she would go to work. I was six years old. Feeling the weight, I eventually said "Okay Mom I got it". She said, "Are you sure?"
